The jeweler is also matching employees’ charitable contributions.
Joining fashion’s fight against the global coronavirus pandemic, the Tiffany & Co. Foundation has pledged $1 million USD to COVID-19-related causes. The foundation, established in 2000, is donating $750,000 USD to the World Health Organization’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund and the remaining $250,000 USD to the New York Community Trust’s NYC COVID-19 Response & Impact Fund. The famed jewelry company will also provide dollar-for-dollar matching of any employee contributions to any qualified nonprofit assisting with coronavirus relief.
“During this global health crisis, we must all be responsive to the urgent needs of our global communities,” Tiffany & Co. Foundation President Anisa Kamadoli Costa said. “We are proud to support organizations providing immediate relief for communities impacted by COVID-19, including our hometown of New York,” she added.
