Billie Eilish Tackles Body Shaming in Short Film

Titled ‘NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY.’

Billie Eilish has released a short film discussing body shaming, an issue that the young musician is well acquainted with. Known for her unique style that often takes the form of oversized outfits, Eilish frequently faces online criticism for her choice in clothing.

The star’s new clip, titled NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY, originally debuted in-concert during the Miami leg of her WHERE DO WE GO? world tour in early March. Now available to view on YouTube, the nearly four-minute-long visual depicts Eilish shedding layers of clothing as a voiceover contemplates, “If I wear more, if I wear less, who decides what that makes me? What that means? Is my value based only on your perception? Or is your opinion of me not my responsibility?”
