Ben & Jerry's Latest Flavor Is Inspired by Netflix's 'Space Force'
“A universe of milk chocolate ice cream with fudge cows and toffee meteor clusters orbiting a sugar cookie dough core.”
Following the release of Ben & Jerry‘s anticipated Nike collaboration, the ice cream giant has revealed a brand new flavor as a nod to upcoming Netflix show Space Force. Titled “Boots on the Moooo’n,” the new release takes inspiration from the Steve Carell satire, with the goal of trying to get boots on the moon (with a cow twist, of course).
The “Boots on the Moooo’n” flavor features “a universe of milk chocolate ice cream with fudge cows and toffee meteor clusters orbiting a sugar cookie dough core,” according to Ben & Jerry’s. Ahead of its release, a short and comical teaser has been shared, featuring a team of scientists trying to launch a pint of ice cream into space. Finished with “coming soon to a freezer space near you,” the ad showcases the co-branded product before it safely lands back down on Earth.
The upcoming Ben & Jerry’s “Boots on the Moooo’n” Space Force flavor will release at select grocery stores across the U.S. on May 29, coinciding with the show’s Netflix release.
