ORIGINAL STORY (May 12, 2020): Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj have topped this week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart with their “Say So” remix, the first number one hit for both artists. The ranking also marks the first time a collaboration between two female rappers has taken top spot on the Hot 100.
Arriving at number two on the charts is Megan Thee Stallion and Beyoncé’s “Savage” remix. With this, Beyoncé makes history by becoming the first artist to garner Top 10 hits in each of the past four decades: the ’90s, ’00s, ’10s and ’20s. An additional milestone, this week’s chart is the first time songs by female rappers have ranked both number one and number two on the Hot 100.
