Nike Celebrates Zoom Air Technology With Women's Exclusive Double Stacked Silhouette

Arriving in “Barely Volt” and “Black/Volt.”

Adding to its lineup of technical running shoes designed with durability and breathability in mind, Nike has now revealed the women’s exclusive Air Zoom Double Stacked silhouette in two colorways. The bold sneaker fuses practicality and comfort while boasting a bold, summer-friendly feel with its bulky midsole and bright hues.

Built upon the early prototypes of the Air Zoom Alphafly NEXT%, key features of the Double Stacked include a cored-out midsole and Zoom Air unit sitting at the heel and forefoot, where the most force is applied on the foot. “There are so many women out there whose love of sneakers is real and passionate, and it’s great to be able to celebrate their affinity of sneaker culture by bringing Air Zoom innovation, energy and newness to a women’s exclusive silhouette,” Nike Sportswear’s senior project line manager Alyson Kizzier commented in an official press release. The shoe is crafted with a premium leather upper accentuated with stitching details and an unfinished TPU Swoosh. “Barely Volt” is a tonal design arriving with a neon yellow shade splashed all over the shoe, while “Black/Volt” sports the bright shade subtly on the Swoosh at the heel and Zoom Air unit.

Scroll through the gallery above for a closer look. Nike’s Air Zoom Double Stacked in “Barely Volt” and “Black/Volt” are slated to arrive on July 20 at Nike’s website and offline stores for $1,599 HKD (approximately $206 USD).

In related news, Nike has added new colorways to its lineup of Zoom silhouettes including the Air Zoom Alphafly NEXT% and ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT%.
