Hysteric Glamour x Richardson Team up for FW20 Streetwear Staples
Featuring bold graphics from the brands’ archives.
Following a cherry-blossom infused lineup for the spring season, Richardson has now tapped Hysteric Glamour for a Fall/Winter 2020 collection filled with archive graphics. The comfy pieces arrive in a photo-ready pink shade, along with versatile black-and-white items.
The “Junkie’s Baddy Powder” and “Rocker” prints found on tees, long-sleeved shirts and hoodies take inspiration from the Hysteric Glamour archive. Reminiscent of Johnson & Johnson‘s packaging, the graphics highlight both labels’ signature aesthetic. “Iconoclasm is difficult to maintain, as is transgression, but that has been a shared vision of the two brands over all of these years. This limited collaboration is both a signal to that long past, and a hope — a dare — for its resurgence,” an official press release reads. A pink hoodie is complete with a bold “KICK IT OUT!” text on the back, while the black iteration is emblazoned with white branding that reads, “THEY’RE GETTING OUT SOON AND THEY NEED YOUR COMPANY.”
