Apple Introduces the AirPods 3 and New MacBook Pros
Along with the HomePod Mini and Apple Music voice plan.
The long-awaited AirPods 3 comes in an all-new design arriving in a lightweight and contoured look. Equipped with spatial audio — which provides a three-dimensional immersive listening experience — the earbuds also feature AAC-ELD, a speech codec that offers full HD voice quality.
Available in 14- and 16-inch models, the new MacBook Pro is powered by the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips. The former delivers up to 70% faster CPU performance than the original M1, while the latter provides an enhanced media engine equipped with two ProRes accelerators for better quality multi-stream performance. It also has a Liquid Retina XDR display, more ports including MagSafe 3, a 1080p FaceTime HD camera and a six-speaker sound system.
Elsewhere, the new HomePod Mini is available in three vibrant colors: yellow, orange and blue. Measuring 3.3 inches in height, the smart speaker delivers a 360-degree audio experience. Additionally, it is compatible with the new Apple Music Voice Plan, which allows users to request Siri to play music from a selection of 90 million songs.
