Mame Kurogouchi x UNIQLO Design Minimalist Underwear and Loungewear
Comfy pieces made with AIRism fabrics.
UNIQLO and Japanese designer Mame Kurogouchi have come together once again to design a collection of underwear and loungewear. The Fall/Winter 2021 lineup follows the duo’s first collaboration back in May.
“It brings me joy to contribute meaningfully to women’s lifestyles through innerwear. I devoted a lot of thought to enhancing details and making fine adjustments to add beauty and comfort. I wanted to capture the essence of the feminine physique and celebrate it with natural curves,” Kurogouchi shared in an official announcement. “A desire to make this collection accessible to women everywhere was a constant consideration.”
The minimalist collection is comprised of bras and briefs crafted with UNIQLO’s 3D knit technology for extra comfort. The pieces, which are dressed in muted gray tones, feature AIRism cotton and mesh for breathability. The warm hues are added to a range of slip dresses, long-sleeved knit tops, cardigans and trousers.
