UPDATE: Warner Bros. To Premiere 'The Batman' Early in IMAX Theaters

Preceding the film’s scheduled debut on March 4.

UPDATE (February 10, 2022): Warner Bros. has announced that The Batman is scheduled to premiere early in IMAX theaters.

DC will be holding a fan event to coincide with the March 1 premiere, which will be available in more than 350 IMAX venues across the United States. According to the production company, the event has sold out at several locations.

The film’s storyline follows Bruce Wayne as he pursues clues left behind by a vicious killer and fights enemies together with a team of loyal allies.  The cast includes Robert Pattinson as the masked crusader, Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.

In the meantime, check out the trailer of the “funeral scene” above. The Batman will premiere early on March 1 followed by the rest of the world on March 4.

UPDATE (January 31, 2022): Rather than just releasing another trailer, Warner Bros. has dropped a whole scene from The Batman.

The nearly three-minute clip shows Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne attending a funeral service when all of a sudden chaos unleashes, prompting him to take action. In addition, a new teaser has appeared, giving fans an inside look into Batman’s family secrets.

The Batman hits theaters on March 4. Watch the “funeral scene” above, and check out the new teaser below.

UPDATE (December 27, 2021): Warner Bros. has released yet another captivating new trailer for The Batman starring Robert Pattison and Zoë Kravitz.

This sneak peek gives an inside look at Pattison and Kravitz’s chemistry in the film, more specifically their characters’ relationship. “The Bat and the Cat. It’s got a nice ring,” Selina, AKA Catwoman (Kravitz), says of the heroic pairing.

The rest of the clip consists of Bruce Wayne, best known as Batman (Pattinson), being tracked down as he questions his abilities to save Gotham City.

The Batman is slated to hit theaters on March 4, 2022. Watch the latest trailer below.

ORIGINAL STORY (October 17, 2021): Warner Bros. has unveiled a new trailer for its upcoming movie The Batman starring Robert Pattinson and Zoë Kravitz at its virtual DC FanDome event.

“When that light hits the sky, it’s not just a call. It’s a warning,” a voice opens the visual as Batman encounters his enemies, Riddler (played by Paul Dano) and Penguin (Colin Farrell). The clip additionally showcases the Caped Crusader’s relationship with Catwoman, who is portrayed by Kravitz.

Set in the dark city of Gotham, the Matt Reeves-directed film will be a much grittier take on the DC Comics franchise. During a panel discussion just before the trailer was revealed, Pattinson explained that this version of the superhero “really knows what he’s doing when he puts on the cowl. He’s a bit out of control. He hasn’t really defined what Batman is … he’s becoming this sort of odd creature.”

Watch the trailer of The Batman below. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on March 4, 2022.
