Rick Owens x Champion Release Unisex Collection for SS22
The drop marks their third collaboration.
Champion and Rick Owens have come back together once again for a third drop of effortlessly edgy and genderless garments. Joining forces in 2020 and 2021, Rick Owens lends his signature raw aesthetic to the athleisure wear, spicing up Champion’s essential basics with drop-crotch sweatpants and mesh fabrics.
Grounding the new launch in Owens’ trademark minimalist palette, featuring colorways “Pearl” and “Bruise,” the third collaboration marks its first venture into swimwear, intimates, socks, as well as accessories, like totes, backpacks and headwear. Everyday hoodies are transformed with chest-baring slashes and tantalizing exaggerated stars, encasing Champion’s signature logo. Ball caps bear the same occult-inspired illustration for a subtle touch of the esoteric. The latest capsule is also sustainable as it is comprised of ethically sourced cotton and nylon, while customers will receive their pieces in plastic-free, biodegradable packaging as well.
