Tom Holland Goes on a Treasure Hunt in 'Uncharted' Trailer
The movie premieres in February 2022.
After much anticipation, PlayStation has unveiled the first trailer of Uncharted, the upcoming live-action movie based on the video game of the same title.
In the new film, Tom Holland portrays the role of Nathan Drake, who sets on a worldwide journey with his partner Victor “Sully” Sullivan (played by Mark Wahlberg) to find the “greatest treasure never found.” Throughout the trip, Nathan also comes across clues to finding his long-lost brother.
“Uncharted has had a huge impact, not only on the people that created it, but on millions of worldwide fans, becoming one of PlayStation’s most enjoyed franchises,” PlayStation shared in a blog post. The film’s director Ruben Fleischer added that he “made the movie for both hardcore fans of the game and those who are not yet familiar with the franchise and believe that both will be equally entertained by this incredibly fun and action-packed film.”
In addition to Holland and Wahlberg, the cast includes You Season 3 star Tati Gabrielle, as well as Sophia Ali and Antonio Banderas.
