Hiroshi Fujiwara Creates New fragment design x Beats Flex

Minimalist details take over the wireless earphones.

Following their collaboration back in January, Hiroshi Fujiwara‘s fragment design and Beats have reunited to drop another set of co-branded headphones. The Japanese designer teased the release last week on Instagram.

This time around, the duo has updated the Flex earphones in a minimalist, tonal black look. fragment’s signature twin-lightning logo highlights the design on one earbud, while the FRGMT branding is printed on the other.

“The design inspiration is a continuation of our last collaboration, as I still believe nothing is as sophisticated and refined as the black-on-black colorway,” Fujiwara shared in a statement. “My personal headphone preference is Beats Flex, as I like the lightweight neckband for listening to music. I hope people can wear and use this on a daily basis.”

The Beats Flex boasts a 12-hour battery life and is equipped with Apple‘s W1 chip for seamless pairing with iOS devices. The wireless earphones also come with a built-in microphone that reduces external noise for added voice clarity. You can accept calls or control music playback by using the buttons on the neckband.

Priced at $69.99 USD, the fragment design x Beats Flex will be available on November 18 via Apple’s website.
