Midorikawa and Suicoke Create Avant-Garde FiveFingers Shoes
A unique collaboration that’s bound to turn heads.
Japanese avant-garde label Midorikawa and Suicoke join forces on a playful version of Vibram‘s FiveFingers shoes. The bold design comes in six shades based on ivory, snow and mocha skin tones.
The boundary-pushing design features an elastic upper, MEGAGRIP outsoles and plastic painted nails in red, blue or nude. As for branding, yellow Vibram logos appear near the shoe’s big toe and heel counter, while Suicoke branding adorns the shoe’s tongue.
The VFF by Suicoke x Midorikawa comes on the heels of a cashmere-lined slipper made in partnership with the Elder Statesman released earlier this month. The collaboration will be available on November 19 at Suicoke and Midorikawa‘s online stores for ¥25,000 JPY (approximately $220 USD).
