The Air Jordan 1 "Bred" Gets Reimagined as a Platform

Meet the aptly named “LV8D” model.

The Nike Air Jordan 1 “Bred” colorway continues to see reinvention, from an elegant satin makeup to a glossy patent leather holiday edition. The iconic sneaker is set to return as the Air Jordan 1 LV8D Elevated “Bred,” a lifestyle reworking of the Bred AJ1 with a chunky platform.

The bold lifestyle sneaker features familiar red and black colorblocking, cork insoles and nubuck lining. Branding seems all but removed with the Wings logo reduced to an outline and the tongue tab left blank. LV8D follows previous platform Nike models including the Nike Vandal 2K and the larger-than-life COMME des GARÇONS Cortez.

While no official release date has been announced, the Air Jordan 1 LV8D Elevated “Bred” is rumored to release in early 2022.
