Louis Vuitton to Showcase Virgil Abloh's Final Collection
Virgil was here.
As the worlds of fashion, art and entertainment mourn the death of Virgil Abloh, Louis Vuitton has announced its upcoming show dedicated to the late designer.
The Spring/Summer 2022 runway, titled “VIRGIL WAS HERE,” will be Abloh’s last collection created for the French fashion house. Honoring the men’s artistic director and Off-White™ founder, the luxury brand will be presenting the designs in Miami.
“In loving memory of Virgil Abloh, Louis Vuitton pays tribute to the life and legacy of a creative genius with a presentation of his SS22 collection in Miami,” LV announced across its social media channels with a two-minute-long teaser video. The clip shows a child riding a bicycle through the city, from the beach all the way to a giant red hot air balloon.
You can tune into the SS22 show on November 30 at 5:30 p.m. ET via Louis Vuitton’s platforms on YouTube, Instagram and its website.
