Nike Releases a Golden Air Max 97 for the Holidays
‘Tis the season for luxe vibes.
Nike is adding another gold Air Max 97 to the Swoosh family. The model follows in the footsteps of previous gold AM97s including the classic Nike Air Max 97 “Metallic Gold,” the Air Max 97 “Gold Medal” made in honor of the 2020 Olympics and the Nike x Swarovski Air Max 97 “Metallic Gold.”
Although the forthcoming “Golden Gals” comes in a familiar metallic gold makeup, its crackled leather upper and mudguard separates it from its predecessors. The model also features touches of black on the tongue and outsole as well as 3M reflective piping.
The Nike Air Max 97 “Golden Gals” hits nike.com and select retailers on December 9 with a $180 USD price tag. It releases alongside a Nike Dunk Low “Golden Gals” in a silver, black and white colorway.
