Nike's Hands-Free GO FlyEase to Arrive in "Black/Gum"
A minimalist take on the accessibility-focused shoe.
Nike is adding a new colorway to its lineup of hands-free slip-on GO FlyEase sneakers. Arriving in “Black/Gum,” the shoe is a minimalist design in comparison its predecessors in colors like “Red/Black.”
Designed with accessibility in mind, the silhouette made its debut earlier this year. It’s constructed to be worn and taken off easily with its bi-stable hinge. Despite the original intention of the design, Nike faced backlash after the first GO FlyEase release hit the resale market for prices as high as $2,000 USD.
Suggested by its name, the new colorway features black throughout the upper, which is contrasted with white on the Swoosh and midsole. A gum outsole rounds out the look.
Priced at $120 USD, the Nike GO FlyEase “Black/Gum” is set to release via Nike’s website and select retailers.
