Multidisciplinary artist Hajime Sorayama and A Bathing Ape link up for a metallic silver SK8 STA.

Inspired by Sorayama’s iconic robots, the collaborative sneaker features a patent leather upper in metallic silver with touches of gray on the midsole, laces, tongue and lining. Hits of gold add to the luxe model, arriving as piping detail and on the eyelets. Other design details include a rubber “93” heel tab, gold screw details and a light gray outsole.

The BAPE SK8 STA as well as a coordinating apparel collaboration is available for purchase now at BAPE’s website and physical stores for ￥25,300 JPY (approximately $220 USD).

In other footwear news, the Nike Waffle One gets a floral print makeover.
