Beyoncé Quietly Joins TikTok

Queen Bey has entered the chat.

Beyoncé has unexpectedly launched her very own account on TikTok.

The @beyonce handle was confirmed to be official with the verified blue check. While the musician has yet to post any content on her page, platforms like Sony Music U and TIDAL took to Twitter to celebrate the launch: “New queen of TikTok has arrived.” Unsurprisingly, the singer has gathered over 424,000 followers in just a day.

Some fans are speculating that Beyoncé could be using the video app to tease upcoming music. Nothing has been confirmed as of now, but her last album was Lemonade, which was released in 2016.
