Nike Applies Safari Print to the Air Max 97

Available for purchase now.

It’s been almost 25 years since the Air Max 97 hit shelves and the silhouette remains one of Nike’s most beloved. The sleek sneaker has seen many iterations — most recently a gilded colorway for the holidays and a minimal woven pair in shades of white. Following a similarly printed Air Jordan 11, the Swoosh is bringing the “Safari” print to a women’s AM97 available for purchase now.

The striking animal print is contrasted by a waxy black textile on the mudguard. Elsewhere, the shoe sees subtle hits of 3M on the laces and a hit of red at the tongue. A white midsole and black outsole complete the look.

The women’s Air Max 97 “Safari” is available now at Nike’s website for $180 USD.
