BTS' V Breaks Guinness World Records With New Instagram Account

Just a week after creating his profile on the app.

BTS member V has broken two Guinness World Records ever since creating his own Instagram account earlier this month.

The K-pop star now holds titles for being the fastest to reach one and 10 million followers on the social media platform. The musician, whose real name is Kim Tae-hyung, reached one million in 43 minutes, and 10 million in 4 hours and 52 minutes. Prior to V, NCT member Moon Tae-il held the title for the fastest to reach one million followers on Instagram, following Rupert Grint and Jennifer Aniston.

In addition to these two records, BTS holds multiple Guinness World titles, including the most-viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours, the most-streamed track on Spotify in the first 24 hours and the most Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards won by a group, just to name a few.
