Take a Look Inside Aisaka Architects’ Atelier’s "House in Tsukuba"
A modern home for the minimalists.
Tokyo-based architectural firm Aisaka Architects’ Atelier (AAA) has unveiled a full look inside its carefully-designed “House in Tsukuba.” Completed in February 2020, the modern home is situated in the city of Tsukuba in Japan‘s Kantō region.
The exterior of the structure boasts minimalism throughout, with white angled facades and large windows looking out onto the street. Upon walking into the home, visitors will find various rooms meticulously planned to create a sense of openness. Living, dining and study rooms are placed within the angular parts of the building, while wide glass windows let in an ample amount of sunlight. The overall feel is kept warm with wooden floors and walls. The home is complete with hobby rooms dedicated to a grand piano, as well as an outdoor balcony that leads to a spacious gym.
