Willow Smith Expresses Her Individuality for Onitsuka Tiger’s SS21 Campaign
Boasting a collection of statement-making styles and reimagined silhouettes.
For its Spring/Summer 2021 campaign, Japanese fashion brand Onitsuka Tiger has unveiled a new contemporary collection that combines fashion and sports-derived styles with heritage design elements and innovative craftsmanship. Starring Willow Smith, Onitsuka Tiger’s global brand ambassador the collection titled “The Onitsuka Tiger Attitude” highlights the continued creativity and evolution of the legacy brand through captivating imagery that highlights Willow’s individuality.
In order to bring the campaign to life and capture the global ambassador’s free spirit, Andrea Pompilio, the Creative Director of Onitsuka Tiger, sought to “portray the collection in a dramatic way by incorporating yoga poses, which [Willow] happens to be good at,” says a representative from the brand. “This campaign gives us hope that there are no limits to the diversity of fashion and [demonstrates] that everyone can enjoy fashion in their own unique way,” the brand representative added.

Carrying this theme and messaging throughout the campaign, the latest collection boasts an array of statement-making styles that includes a vivid, free-flowing dress cast into a striking shade of yellow, a reimagined LBD complete with tiers of ruffles, a slick trench coat fashioned in luxe black nylon and multicolored sports jackets and separates.
