While Marine Serre and Y/Project won the title last year, ANDAM has now announced its star-studded guest jury list for the 2021 awards, featuring the likes of BLACKPINK member Lisa, Phoebe Philo and Kerby Jean-Raymond. Together, the members will be selecting the next winner of the French fashion award.

Standing out from the 13-person list is Lisa, whose influence on the fashion industry grew as she was named CELINE’s global brand ambassador in 2020. Prior to the pandemic, the K-pop star took front row spots at runway shows, while she continued to showcase statement-making looks on stage and in music videos for BLACKPINK. Pyer Moss‘ founder Kerby Jean-Raymond joins the roster alongside Phoebe Philo, who has had a major impact on labels like CELINE.

Additional names include photographer Juergen Teller and his creative partner Dovile Drizyte, M Le magazine du Monde‘s fashion director Suzanne Koller, French musician and actress Lou Doillon and Chinese singer Chris Lee. The international list was selected by Cédric Charbit, CEO of Balenciaga and this year’s ANDAM jury president, to build a larger stage for rising talent in fashion. In addition to the guest jury, Charbit increased the prize amount from €250,000 EUR to €300,000 EUR (approximately $302,193 USD to $362,631 USD).

“The jury is coming from different horizons, and represent the different facets and faces of creativity today. It’s the only way that we give a good and proper reading of something that’s modern and conscious for a talent for tomorrow,” the president told WWD. The winner of the 2021 ANDAM Fashion Award will receive mentoring from Charbit for one year “to help them scale their creative processes, strengthen their business and try to build international capacities.”
