GANNI x Levi's Deliver Sustainable Denim Pieces for SS21
A collection made using cottonized hemp.
Continuing their partnership that commenced back in August 2020, Levi’s and GANNI have come together once again to create more sustainable denim goods. Just like its predecessor, the Spring/Summer 2021 collection marries the Copenhagen label’s signature style with the American brand’s heritage that dates back to 1853.
This time around, jeans, denim jackets, dresses and more are made with cottonized hemp, which generally uses less water and pesticides in comparison to traditionally-grown cotton. Dark-wash denim comes in the form of a double-breasted jacket, shorts and a button-down dress with frilled collars. The theme is continued on a denim blouse, while Levi’s signature jeans are celebrated through designs such as a white off-shoulder top. Elsewhere, floral prints take over a pair of high-waisted jeans and a dress. The collection is rounded out with co-branded T-shirts and a sweatshirt.
