Bella Hadid, Hunter Schafer and More Do Backflips on Mugler's SS21 Runway

An acrobatic show highlighted with somersaults, ultra-high jumps and more.

Showcased through a dynamic video, Casey Cadwallader‘s Spring/Summer 2021 collection for Mugler swiftly took off on social media upon its release. The virtual runway, featuring the likes of Bella Hadid, Alek Wek and Hunter Schafer, came with jaw-dropping stunts, backward walks, ultra-fast spins and more.

The runway took place in a dark theater, beginning with Hadid in the final look that was teased through a short video of the model leaping high up in the air. In the rewound film, she struts backward in curve-seamed jeans paired with a sheer top, followed by Schafer, who makes a grand entrance by, literally, landing on stage. The Euphoria star dons a cut-out bodysuit, while Irina Shayk continues with bottom-hugging trousers.

The collection proceeds with a star-studded roster including Soo Joo Park in an all-black halter neck look, as Hadid re-enters the runway by doing somersaults. More standouts such as sheer, asymmetrical garments take center stage alongside psychedelic prints on tailored jackets and suits worn by Omahyra Mota, Angeer Amol, Dominique Jackson, Ash Foo and more.

Watch the full show above. As announced last year, Mugler has adopted a see-now-buy-now model, meaning that the showcased garments are available to shop immediately.
