The Sneaker Edit: Springtime Styles From Nike, Converse and Vans

Add these cheerful pastel kicks to your spring wardrobe.

Spring is in full swing, opening up a world of new possibilities when it comes to dressing. As you stow away your winter coat, don’t forget about your shoe rack — it’s time to swap out your heavy boots for lighter footwear choices. This spring, designers are offering bright sneakers in cheery pastel shades that point to the optimism of post-vaccine life. For our latest installment of The Sneaker Edit, we’ve rounded up a selection of warm weather kicks you’ll immediately want to add to your cart.

From Nike, the Air Max 90 is updated in a sea-foam green colorway dubbed “Future Is Clear,” a soft take on the classic silhouette. Vans has introduced several new iterations of its Old Skool and Era, arriving in bleach-stained blue and floral patchwork. Earlier this month, the footwear giant tapped Wacko Maria to rework another signature silhouette, the OG Authentic LX, in a graphic print of vinyl records. Converse also reinvents an icon — the Chuck 70 — with bright paint splatters while New Balance adds utilitarian details to the X-Racer.
