A genre on the rise within Korean television and cinema, sci-fi titles like Sisyphus: The Myth have become some of the buzziest Netflix releases of 2021. The K-drama series, starring Park Shin-hye and Cho Seung-woo, has been a hot topic among global audiences over the past few weeks. Our recommendations of similar series to watch include Signal, which also features the element of time-jumping, as well as W – Two Worlds Apart, a story that deals with two alternate worlds. Memories of the Alhambra is another popular show featuring an AR universe. A more recent release, SF8 showcases works from different filmmakers.
