H&M Spotlights Non-Profit Black Girls Skate in New Campaign
Members of the organization model pieces from the new skate and surf-inspired collection.
H&M‘s new collection and campaign is celebrating the mission of Black Girls Skate, a non-profit advocating for skaters who identify as women, non-binary, Black, African and of color. Members of the organization to star in an online editorial featuring pieces from the retailer’s new range of skate and surf-inspired summer-wear, ranging from terry cloth shorts to zippered swimsuits.
Taking cues from the athleticism and lifestyle of both sports, H&M’s new pieces are laidback yet performance-ready. Loose crop-tops arrive in tie-dye terry cloth, and denim bottoms are constructed with relaxed cuts. Jersey dresses, pastel bucket hats and drawstring shorts are suited to lounging on the beach or at the park.
