Pharrell Williams x adidas Originals Splash the Hu NMD in "Clear Aqua"
Featuring “Human Race” in Xhosa – the official language of South Africa.
Following its monochromatic pink iteration back in March, Pharrell Williams and adidas Originals are back with another rework of the Hu NMD. The latest design comes in a refreshing “Clear Aqua” colorway with hits of black and white throughout.
Just like its predecessors, the silhouette explores a specific linguistic reference. This time around, the sneaker features a white contrasting stitched graphic that reads “Human Race” in Xhosa, which is the official language of South Africa. Elsewhere, the upper is crafted from adidas’ Primeknit textile material, while the BOOST midsole and rubber outsole come in a tonal monochromatic look. The co-branded sock liners and extra lace options round off the design.
