Smeg Launches Its First-Ever Cookware Range

Arriving in the brand’s signature ’50s retro style.

Known for its retro fridges and other kitchen appliances, Italian cooking brand Smeg has added new items to its catalog. Finally branching out into cookware, the label has created two different sized frying pans, a wok and a casserole dish compatible with all hob types including induction.

The products arrive in a sleek, modern design while keeping Smeg’s ’50s-inspired retro style in mind. Made out of cold-forged aluminum, the offerings’ thickened bottom and stainless-steel plate guarantee evenly distributed heat. Elsewhere, the items come with an essential non-stick primer coating, allowing your food to brown without sticking to the surface. Meanwhile, the stainless-steel handles feature a sturdy look and feel, while the pan lids, pots and pans can be placed in an oven up to 250°C (480°F). Take a closer look at the collection above, which is available in black, red and cream.

Ranging from £99.95 to £189 GBP (approximately $140 to $265 USD), you can now purchase Smeg’s cookware online and at Smeg’s London store.
