Gucci Launches Exclusive Capsule for Its "GUCCI GAOK" Seoul Flagship
Bags and footwear dressed in traditional Korean colors.
Following the opening of the new space, Gucci has now launched a special capsule dedicated to its newest “GUCCI GAOK” flagship store in Itaewon, Seoul. Just like the physical location inspired by traditional Korean homes, the range is dressed in “saekdong (색동),” a series of color combinations commonly found on hanbok.
Designed by Alessandro Michele, the lineup features some of the house’s most iconic pieces such as the GG Supreme. The “saekdong” hues are infused in Gucci’s Baiadera print, which marks the first pattern to be developed with inspiration from a specific location, as shared in a press release. Further designs include handbags and suitcases complete with “GAOK” lettering. As for ready-to-wear, both men’s and women’s designs are highlighted with check patterns, suede material, denim and more.
Peep the collection above. The items are exclusively available at the “GUCCI GAOK” store.
