Levi's x New Balance's Collaborative 990v3 Is Dropping Soon
Set to arrive in “Indigo” and “Grey” iterations.
UPDATE (September 2, 2021): Following an initial look, Levi’s and New Balance have finally unveiled their upcoming 990v3 collaboration.
In addition to the “Indigo” iteration revealed previously, the partnership includes a “Grey” colorway. Both pairs are highlighted with Levi’s Shrink-To-Fit™ denim across the upper, which is complemented with a fuzzy suede material inspired by the American brand’s leather back patch. Keeping true to the original silhouette, the sneakers don signature “N” branding on the sides.
Take a closer look at the collaborative shoes above and below. The 990v3 in “Indigo” and “Grey” will launch on September 9 via Levi’s mobile app and New Balance’s web store. Each pair will set you back $220 USD.

ORIGINAL STORY (July 28, 2021): Revisiting their longtime partnership, Levi’s and New Balance have come together to rework the 990v3 sneaker with denim-inspired details.
Maintaining the original silhouette, the footwear style is covered in hues of blue, referencing the San Francisco-based brand’s heritage. The upper comes with a blue denim base, which is contrasted with overlays in shaggy suede material. The tonal theme continues on bold blue detailing on the toe box, tongue and heel, while the “N” logo is highlighted with Levi’s tag on the side. Rounding out the look is the “990” stamp and comfy ABZORB midsole.
