Prada x adidas Update A+P Luna Rossa 21 in Two New Colorways
A matte gray iteration and an all-black design.
Prada and adidas have come together once again to continue their footwear collaboration. The A+P Luna Rossa 21 is now updated with two new colorways – “Mgh Solid Grey/Matte Silver/Red,” which was revealed earlier this year, and “Core Black/Red.”
The partnership follows up on the duo’s Superstars released in 2020. The A+P Luna Rossa 21 is a design that fuses the heritage of both Prada and adidas with inspiration from sailing, more specifically the sneaker that was worn by the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team for the Prada Cup.
As suggested by its name, the “Mgh Solid Grey/Matte Silver/Red” iteration arrives with tones of matte gray throughout. Composed of recycled materials, the PRIMEGREEN upper is complemented by a transparent E-TPU outer shell that reveals the iconic Three Stripes on the laterals. Marrying style with functionality, the shoe also features an EVA tongue with a speed lacing system. The kicks are rounded out with adidas’ perforated BOOST midsole. Maintaining the same details, the “Core Black/Red” design is dressed in all-black with Prada’s signature red color found on the heel.
Take a detailed look above. The gray and black A+P Luna Rossa 21 sneakers will launch globally on July 19 at both Prada and adidas‘ websites, flagship stores and boutiques. Each pair will cost £450 GBP (approximately $650 USD).
