Our Favorite Looks From Jacquemus' FW21 Runway
We’re ready for post-lockdown days in these eye-catching styles.
Like many other designers, Simon Porte Jacquemus took a few seasons off the runway due to the ongoing pandemic. Returning in roughly more than a year for Fall/Winter 2021, the creative showcased looks filled with colors and details we’re looking to dress in in a post-lockdown world.
Set in a film studio with fresh “grass” serving as the stage, the presentation titled “LA MONTAGNE” was almost like a reunion for the fashion world. Kendall Jenner made a grand comeback alongside names like Bella Hadid, Mica Argañaraz and Sora Choi, while a small audience sat in a row on each side of the runway.
Keeping to his signature style, Jacquemus worked with tonal styling and elegant silhouettes. The collection kicked off with a series of cream and beige outfits that gradually transitioned to camel brown. Channeling the frustration built up from the pandemic, the designer splashed bold hues of red, pink, sky blue and more onto dresses, cropped tops, bolero-style shirts, knit sweaters and more.
