Diptyque Releases Two Limited-Edition Candles in Partnership With Villa Noailles
Arriving in two scents, Lilac and Rosemary.
Parisian perfumer Diptyque has released a limited-edition candle duo with Charles and Marie-Laure de Noailles, the owners of Villa Noailles.
Villa Noailles, an early modernist arts center nestled in the hills of Hyères, is considered the home of modern architectural heritage in the South of France, hosting everything from festivals to art shows, many of which have been perfumed by Diptyque.
The candle release, inspired by the couple’s favorite fragrances, includes two scents: Lilac and Rosemary. The first is emblematic of a lilac spring garden, finished off with subtle spiced notes and accentuated with muted vanilla and musk. The second scent evokes the natural, aromatic fragrance of rosemary, seeing essences of basil and eucalyptus leaves infused with woody facets.
