New Balance To Drop Deconstructed 2002R "Protection Pack"
Layered designs arriving in three colorways.
Expanding its lineup of popular footwear, New Balance is set to release a new iteration of its 2002R sneaker. Dubbed the “Protection Pack,” the shoes arrive in three colorways – ”Rain Cloud,” “Phantom” and “Sea Salt.”
All three pairs sport deconstructed motifs throughout, with cut paneling details on the upper that reveal a mesh base. The design features layers of suede material to create a rough look in different shades of ivory and gray. Each shoe is rounded out with “2002” branding at the ankle and the ABZORB midsole and N-ergy outsole.
Ahead of the global launch on August 20, the New Balance 2002R “Protection Pack” will be available exclusively on August 13 via Extra Butter‘s Lower East Side and in Long Island City stores. Each pair will retail for approximately $180 USD.
