Urban Sophistication Forays Into Jewelry With Y2K Resin Rings
Seven nostalgic styles inspired by Band-Aids.
Urban Sophistication has expanded its catalog with jewelry. For its debut collection, the brand is set to release a collection of nostalgic resin rings.
“Each ring is a glimpse of nostalgic positivity we keep going back to,” founders Elad and Neta Yam shared in a press release. “The rings carry a self-affirmative message, while the Band-Aid shape contextualizes the moment of growth, and more particularly, the pain that came prior to it.”
The line consists of seven styles featuring self-affirmative messages such as “Bad Bitch,” “A Little Bit Dramatic” and “It Still Hurts.” With the aim to provoke the feeling of nostalgia, the rings are inspired by Band-Aids. “Remembering what the pain has brought to your life will help you get up the next time you fall. And that state of mind will make you much stronger,” the founders commented on the concept behind their designs.
Priced at $50 USD each, Urban Sophistication’s resin rings will be available on August 24 online.
