Street style is officially back, and it’s cooler and more expressive than ever at Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2022. As editors, models and influencers made their third Fashion Month stop in Italy, HYPEBAE has rounded up some of the greatest style moments photographed by Paul Jeong outside shows.
Button-ups appeared to be the most versatile wardrobe staple. A vibrant chartreuse blouse was paired with casual bike shorts and Converses, while a crisp white shirt was dressed up with a tie, a black leather vest and a ’90s brown lip liner to boot. Speaking of leather, outerwear in the transitional weather-appropriate material — an oversized blazer, a moto jacket, a sleek coat with contrast stitching — was certainly a favorite among the fashion crowd in Milano. Then there’s an assortment of cozy and chic fall knitwear, which came in the form of a chunky sweater, Fendi‘s cashmere bralette as well as its matching pencil skirt. Not to be missed were the accessories. From “clout goggles” to futuristic ear cuffs, seen on models Sora Choi and Xu Meen, statement eyewear and jewelry were embraced by runway stars and show attendees alike.
