UNIQLO Is Now Selling Coffee, Too
The apparel brand has opened its very own café in Tokyo.
Japanese apparel giant UNIQLO is adding coffee to its product lineup. The brand has just opened its very own café in its 12-floor flagship store in Ginza, Tokyo.
The shop, which opened its doors to the public on September 17 following a 10th-anniversary renovation, includes a variety of experiences and services for customers. In addition to a series of LifeWear installations, the space features UNIQLO Coffee on the 12th floor for mid-shopping breaks.
The café offers UNIQLO’s special coffee blend, which is paired with cookies by confectionery brand Ginza West. Guests can lounge in this area filled with sofas while enjoying a view of Tokyo’s streets through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows. Like the brand’s clothing items, the coffee comes with reasonable pricing. One cup of Joe will cost you ¥200 JPY (approximately $2 USD), and the premium Geisha hand drip coffee is priced at ¥450 JPY (approximately $4 USD).
In addition to UNIQLO Coffee, the flagship store provides consultation and customization services for innerwear, suits and more. Customers who spend over ¥10,000 JPY (approximately $91 USD) will be offered a free cup of coffee until September 20.
