While HBO Max‘s Euphoria has been criticized by some for its depiction of drug use, the series continues to receive praise for its diversity, cinematography and inspiring style moments. Unlike most high school TV shows, Euphoria eschews most character tropes, allowing for multifaceted personalities that use fashion as a means of self-expression. As sneaker enthusiasts, naturally, we wondered: What kicks would our favorite characters in the series wear?
It wouldn’t be difficult to imagine what sneakers the Euphoria cast would shop if there was a Tier 0 retailer in their suburban town, East Highland. If Maddy Perez’s (Alexa Demie) rhinestone eye makeup is any indication, she’d naturally gravitate to Nike and Swarovski‘s sparkling collabs. Picture-perfect Cassie seems like a Nike Dunk Low collector — plus with her extensive morning beauty routine, we could totally see her scrubbing them with a toothbrush before each wear.
