Yara Shahidi Stars in Dior Beauty's Forever Sisterhood Campaign
The ‘Black-ish’ actor joins Natalie Portman.
The Dior family gets bigger as Yara Shahidi makes her debut in her first Dior Beauty campaign.
Dior announced the female-focused campaign on Instagram, writing, “A new generation forever is coming. Dior Global Brand Ambassador @YaraShahidi, award-winning actress, producer and inspiring change agent, is now part of the Forever sisterhood movement as the new face alongside @NataliePortman.”
The French label named the Gen Z actor and activist as the face of its fashion and beauty houses last summer, joining fellow ambassadors Cara Delevingne and BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, who inspired the fashion house’s Fall 2021 collection.
Shahidi’s makeup artist Emily Cheng reposted the campaign image with a touching caption to which the ambassador responded in her typically compassionate and generous fashion: “Emily! After over four years of incredible moments, it’s so special to see your beautiful work in this campaign! You never cover who I am, just add an extra glow to it!”
