TikTok is also known for reviving nostalgic hairstyles, which is where we are now with the resurgence of French curl braids taking over our for you pages.
#FrenchCurlBraidsHairstyle is doing viral numbers at 17.4 million views. However, the trend has been around for a while. The style dates back to the ’90s and can be referenced by the artist Brandy, one of the leading celebrities to sport the look on the hit television show Moesha. Once the new-gen community of hair lovers caught wind of the “new” type of box braid, TikTok lit up with everyone trying the braided moment in different textures, styles and colors. French curl braids are only box braids done with curly braiding hair. The finishing look is finished with loose curls and can be worn for any occasion.
