Kourtney Kardashian Shares the Reason She's No Longer as Close to Her Sisters
The lemme founder’s relationship with Khloé and Kim began shifting in 2018.
Kourtney Kardashian has spilled the tea when it comes to her relationship with sisters Khloé and Kim Kardashian, revealing the reason she’s not as close to them as she used to be.
The Poosh and lemme founder credits motherhood as one of the reasons for their shift, which began in 2018. That same year, Kim welcomed Chicago West via surrogate, while Khloé gave birth to True Thompson three months later.
“I just felt like they really bonded, like they were going through the same things,” Kourtney said in a recent episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast. “And that’s when I was unhappy with the show [Keeping Up With the Kardashians], partially because of them two [Kim and Khloé] kind of ganging up. It was almost everything that Khloé and I had kind of done to Kim, and then they were flipping it on me.”
Fortunately, therapy, which Kourtney began going to around that time period, has helped her. “I think some of us more than others feel the need to distance sometimes or just do our own thing, have our own thing,” she said. “I love to keep my little bubble and as they say, ‘Protect your energy.’ And I just like to be in my own little world and enter it when I choose and then slip back in.”
Kourtney also admitted that although she and Khloé’s relationship has changed over the years, they’re OK. “I feel like Khloé and I are good,” she added. “I spoke to her the whole time she was in Milan. We were FaceTiming. We FaceTimed on the way to school this morning. I saw her this morning at school. We’re good. I think just life isn’t the same. I think I’m in a different place.”
