Matthieu Blazy Debuts His First Sneaker for Bottega Veneta
Dubbed, “Pillow Sneaker.”
Bottega Veneta introduces its newest footwear silhouette, dubbed the “Pillow Sneaker.” First teased in the luxury Italian fashion house’s Autumn/Winter 2022 runway show, the release marks Matthieu Blazy’s sneaker debut for the brand.
Inspired by ’90s skate culture, the “Pillow Sneaker” offers a pragmatic yet playful casual style for ease of wearing. Available in a “Parakeet,” “Black” or “Optic White/Parakeet” colorway, the shoe sports a classic rope lace-up, smooth leather upper and an oversized rubber midsole. Elsewhere, a signature Bottega Veneta imprinting dresses the tongue and sole, accompanying a back pull loop for a touch of comfort. Each pair, made of 100% calfskin, is produced in Italy.
