Meet LUCASHEVA, the Women-Led Footwear Label Creating Heels Made for Strutting

Focusing on the cutting-edge of contemporary elegance.

Ukrainian-born architect and designer Tina Lucasheva established her namesake label LUCASHEVA in early 2022, using revolutionary digital VR tools. After fleeing the Russia-Ukraine war, Luchaseva moved to Vancouver, where the women-led start-up was born.

The Vancouver-based footwear label seeks to reimagine contemporary elegance by merging cutting-edge styles with traditional Italian craftsmanship and technological innovation. “We create shoes for women with a more daring style so that they can walk around with confidence and audacity,” highlights the founder and creative director in an exclusive press release.

LUCHASEVA has recently teased the styles that will comprise its first collection. The newly created signature look, dubbed Indented Waterlily heels, reimagines one of fashion’s most enduring trend, the kitten heel, by balancing sharp angles and flowing curves. From electric pinks and vibrant golds to delicate, minimal tones — the must-have range offers modular slide-on features with impeccable quality and timeless design.

The brand proves its dedication to environmentally sustainable manufacturing by exclusively utilizing leather with a traceable production history that would have otherwise been discarded. This continuous commitment is even furthered by using eco-friendly certified tanning materials. LUCASHEVA brand values are driven by social motifs at its core, which is why the brand partners with family-run shoe factories in Italy to maintain the traditional craft of shoe making.

The first drop, which is soon to be announced, will present the idea of a pre-order trunk show. Why a trunk show, you might ask? Well, the founder explains that “a paying customer may never view a major portion of a collection because the store’s buyers did not prioritize it for different reasons.” She adds that “Prioritizing customers’ desires is of the utmost importance to us. We want our consumers to purchase with intention. LUCASHEVA shoes are made to be worn and have charming independence of design.”

Check out the lookbook above and stay tuned for official release details as they become confirmed.
