Resale Platforms Like Rebag and The RealReal Are Not Accepting Ye-Related Products

The latest to drop the rapper following his problematic remarks and behavior.

Bad news for those who have been trying to sell off their YEEZY and Ye-related products — major resale platforms like Rebag and The RealReal are no longer accepting any items tied to the rapper.

The RealReal took to Instagram to announce its latest update. “Since our founding, we’ve been committed to creating a safe space for every employee, consignor, and customer – regardless of age, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or race – and we will not tolerate remarks that demonstrate discrimination or call for violence,” the post read. “We stand on the side of equality and acceptance, and will continue to promote a safe and supportive marketplace for our members.” The brand further noted that YEEZY items already listed prior to the announcement will remain available until they are sold.

As of writing, there are plenty of YEEZY-related products listed on The RealReal at discounted prices. A miniskirt originally retailing at $295 USD is now going for $88.50 USD.

According to WWD, major resale platforms like Rebag and Fashionphile have confirmed that they will no longer list products tied to YEEZY. StockX, Vestiaire Collective, Poshmark and eBay still carry items from the rapper. While brands continue to drop the rapper including Balenciaga, adidas, Gap and most recently Skechers, these unwanted stocks bring environmental problems as they end up in waste.

Fashion brands haven’t been the only ones dropping Ye — the rapper’s lawyers at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan have also cut ties with him.
