Awake NY Delivers Streetwear-Ready Jackets for FW22

Following a collaborative collection with the US Soccer team in October, Awake NY has released a Fall/Winter 2022 outerwear collection, offering two separate jacket designs.

The first style is called the Corazón Varsity Jacket and arrive in two bold color combinations — blue-orange-cream and black-red-yellow. The sports-inspired jacket features effortlessly cool leather sleeves that juxtapose a soft, central fabric. The piece’s striped cuffs give the outerwear its classic edge and reappears around the collar and bottom hem.

The jacket’s eye-catching patches read “ANY,” serving as the brand’s logo. A regal crest bearing the phrase, “Globally Recognized, Locally Respected” sits confidently on the garment’s lower half, while the word “Kings” rests on the opposite side. Covering the back of the coat is a proud lion motive, which surrounded by the lettering “Corazón de Leon,” whereas the word “Kings” runs down the center.

The second design, the Quilted Patch Bomber Jacket offers a more subdued approach to outerwear. Featured in army green and navy shades, the soft layering piece borrows its aesthetic from a holy subject. “Thy Will Not Mine Be Done” sits underneath a graphic of a biblical book on the back, while the Awake NY logo is in a gothic font on the front chest.

Take a look at Awake NY’s FW22 collection in the gallery above. Drop 1 is available on the brand’s online store beginning Friday November 4 at 11 a.m. ET. The Corazón Varsity Jacket retails for $1,100 USD, while the Quilted Bomber Jacket can be purchased for $295 USD.
