Worried About Thinning Tresses? "Hair Fillers" May Be the Treatment for You

At this point, everyone knows what fillers are and what they’re made for, but now the mainstream popular trend has trickled over to the haircare industry as a solution to brittle and broken tresses.

“Hair Fillers” are a noninvasive hair-extension treatment typically geared towards recorrecting thinning hair on the scalp. They instantly give an appearance of fuller and thicker hair, leaving you feeling like you have plush, celebrity-like strands. Hair fillers can be used in various ways, such as adding volume to hair loss from environmental stresses, post-partum and menopause, correcting a haircut and adding fullness over color-stretched and heat-damaged hair. Suppose you’re looking to have the treatment done. Hair fillers last for three to four months, depending on how well you take care of your hair. Key points in making them last are to use sulfate-free shampoo and only condition the ends of the hair and not where the extensions are placed.

Suppose you’re interested in trying this method — in that case, we suggest tapping a salon professional as a consultation will need to be done to assess the condition of your hair and to properly match the extensions to your natural color.
