Selena Gomez Addresses Viral Photos With Hailey Bieber for the First Time Ever

The ladies, who both dated Justin Bieber, sent fans into a frenzy a few weeks ago.

Selena Gomez has finally spoken up about posing for photos with Hailey Bieber. On October 15, both the singer and the model attended the 2022 Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles and took at least three pics together.

In a new interview with Vulture, Gomez opened up about the viral encounter. The outlet told her, “I know our time is up, but I also wanted to ask — that recent photo released of you and Hailey Bieber felt full circle. What was the story behind it? I thought it was powerful of you guys to publicly be like, ‘We’re moving on.’”

Gomez replied, “Yeah, it’s not a big deal. It’s not even a thing.

A few weeks ago, a source told E! News how the photos even came to be in the first place. “They were at the same event and were asked to take a photo together,” an insider close to Gomez shared. “They agreed and decided to clear up the rumors once and for all. They wanted to show that there’s really no hate between them and that they are both in a good place. It was a moment and an opportunity to put all of the noise behind them and they took it.”

Weeks before they were photographed together, Bieber opened up about Gomez during an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, clearing up the rumors that she had stolen her now-husband, Justin Bieber, from her. The Rhode Skin founder also revealed that she spoke to Gomez after marrying the “Peaches” singer. “I respect her; there’s no drama, personally,” she said about Gomez. “So that’s why I’m like, it’s all respect, it’s all love. That’s also why I feel like, well, if everybody on our side knows what happened and we’re good and we could walk away from it with clarity and respect, then that’s fine.”
